Clare offers relational psychotherapy grounded in clinical experience and research. Her approach centres on awareness, embodiment, and understanding patterns in how we relate to ourselves, others, and our environments, with the aim of expanding choice, regulation, and agency. Clare has a particular interest in trauma, women’s sexual and reproductive health, perinatal mental health, relationships, belonging, longing and loneliness, as well as identity and self-esteem.

Clare is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Gestalt Psychotherapist with over 11 years’ experience across public and private settings. She completed her Bachelor’s (Honours) in Ireland, four years of advanced training in Gestalt psychotherapy, and an MPhil at the University of Melbourne, researching reproductive and gender injustice. Her work is grounded in a warm, relational approach, where you can expect to be both supported and challenged.

She has particular expertise working with survivors of abuse, sexual violence, reproductive trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, bereavement, and loneliness. Whether or not a formal diagnosis is present, my focus is on understanding your lived experience and how it continues to shape you in the present moment.

Therapy may not offer a quick fix; rather, it is a process of cultivating curiosity, self-compassion, and deeper self-awareness, supporting a more connected and integrated sense of self.
