Katryna was born in Malaysia, and graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2010. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017, having completed her training in country Victoria. Since then, she has been steadily working as a highly dedicated and motivated General Practitioner with a desire to provide high quality and holistic medical care to the community.

She is extremely passionate about LGBTQIA+ health, Sexual and Reproductive Health including Sexual Health Screens and PrEP prescriptions, Women’s Health and Antenatal Care. She completed her FNAA Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health with Sexual Health Victoria and has a specialised interest in providing care and support to patients who are interested in starting a family, including periconception assessments and counselling. She is a fervent advocate for Women’s Health and our reproductive choices.

In her spare time, she has her hands full with her rambunctious children who mean well but are aging her rapidly. Like any other Malaysian, she has an encyclopedia-like knowledge of where to find excellent Malaysian food in Melbourne and is more than happy for you to ask her.
